Renew Moline Role: Consultant selection and ongoing advisory assistance

Renew Moline supported the City of Moline in an advisory and administrative capacity during the City’s work to complete a Riverfront Master Plan for the I-74 redevelopment area.  Renew staff conducted research on planning consultants with riverfront development experience, co-wrote the Request for Qualifications/Proposals and helped promote the opportunity and managed the consultant interview process.  Since the City chose MKSK, Renew has served in a supporting and advisory role, assisting with three public engagement and outreach events, and participating in staff/team meetings for the project.  The City anticipates the Draft Riverfront Master Plan to be considered by the Mayor and City Council in late summer 2024.
