Renew Moline’s priority is to ensure that downtown is successful. To that end, we are often asked to provide support and assistance to businesses and people seeking to start a business downtown, or to help resolve issues that sometimes arise. We have experience and can help with general questions, direction to resources and people. While we don’t necessarily have all the answers, we do endeavor to find them.
Renew Moline regularly provides support and assistance to downtown businesses that request it. Some of the examples of this support includes:
- Hosted a ribbon cutting for El Encanto Boots, Harold’s Chicken, Corazon Latino Restaurant and Bar, Penny Lane Tattoo, Arlo & Elm, and Take Cover Tiki Club.
- Supported Ballet Quad Cities in their acquisition of a building on 5th Avenue and planning for building renovation.
- Supported Pour Bros in establishing their location at the Element Hotel.
- Supported the negotiations of a development agreement and redevelopment of Sohrbeck Lofts.
- Supported Las Salsas Dona Mary in establishing their location on 6th Avenue.
