Consisting of two main components, The Q and the Element Moline were designed to contribute to the transit-oriented development already in place with Centre Station and Vibrant Arena at the MARK. The project included new construction and the renovation of the O’Rourke Building for use as a hotel. New retail space was constructed between the hotel and public space designed to accommodate a train station. Today this space is home to Pour Bros, a community-oriented pub and additional retail spaces. The project was completed with a pedestrian bridge connecting the Centre Station parking garage and bus station to the new development, linking several modes of travel into an integrated design.
The Moline Multimodal Stations is the home for the Element Hotel and The Q a potential site for a rail station.
