More than $85 million in public and private dollars were invested to redevelop the former industrial area known as Bass Street Landing at the base of 17th Street along Moline’s riverfront. The three project phases took almost a decade to complete and now provide Moline visitors with locations to stay, eat and be entertained as well as supporting the business community with a new U.S. Operations Center for KONE, Inc. and a location for Visit Quad Cities among others.

Phase I of the construction of Bass Street Landing included RiverStation, a mixed-use riverfront development featuring retail, restaurant, and office space, along with a new public plaza, known as The Plaza at Bass Street Landing. Today, Bass Street Landing includes:  Stoney Creek; Bass Street Landing Plaza; RiverStation; and the Caxton Building
