Rochelle Carlin-Krueger

As an Army Veteran and Photojournalist, storytelling has been central to Rochelle “Ro” Carlin-Krueger’s journey, from small-town Iowa to deployments in the Middle East. After a decade in Georgia honing her craft, she returned to the Midwest, discovering a passion for nonprofit work.

Ro pursued a degree in Public Administration with a minor in Non-profit Management at Georgia Southern University, deepening her commitment to community development. Back in the heartland, Ro met her wife, Sarah, an educator in the Moline School District, and they began a new chapter with her two children.

Now, as the Executive Director of the Moline Community Development Corporation, Ro is eager to use her storytelling and nonprofit management skills to empower individuals, revitalize neighborhoods, and strengthen Moline. She finds immense joy in making a tangible difference in Moline, working collaboratively with the community to drive positive transformation and foster growth.
