The City of Moline is located in the heart of the Midwest, nestled between the banks of the Mississippi River and Rock River. Are you looking for a unique opportunity to shape a community? The City of Moline, Illinois is seeking a Community and Economic Development Director. Salary negotiable up to $145,788 DOQ.

The ED Director will have the opportunity to impact:
· Redevelopment of more than 13 acres of downtown/riverfront property after the existing I-74 bridge is demolished.
· Development of nearly 500 acres of existing farmland, south of the Quad City International Airport.
· Continued revitalization of the John Deere Road corridor, with the highest traffic counts in the Quad Cities second to I-74, after a $67.8 million infrastructure investment by IDOT.
· Improvements to South Park Mall and surrounding properties, particularly once the new diverging diamond interchange and multi-use path are installed at I-74 and John Deere Road.
