OUR SERVICES

Renew Moline provides professional services with a primary focus on facilitating private land development investments, while helping to secure complementary public improvements.  Emphasis remains on partnering with the City of Moline to implement the Moline Centre Plan adopted November 13th, 2001 by the Moline City Council. 

Much of our work is accomplished through close collaboration with City Staff and elected officials, professional consultants, and regional economic development partners.

Renew Moline assists developers and businesses by designing and managing development strategies through a Project Management Team and Design Build Management Team  process.

OUR PRIMARY SERVICES

Plan - project-driven planning including conceptualization, character of use, schematic design, land use, site planning and schedule management.  This also includes the continual implementation of the Moline Centre Plan

Partner - establishing and maintaining critical trust relationships with the City of Moline staff and elected officials, developers, businesses, professional consultants, and regional economic development partners

Fund - securing essential public and private sources of funding including conventional debt, bonding, loan participation, equity, grants, and government incentives.  Gap financing is often achieved through non-traditional, creative funding solutions

Consult - providing valuable project consultation frequently without the cumbersome "Request for Proposal" that typically constrains governments

Advocate - performing community and/or political advocacy for projects, developers, businesses, and the City of Moline regarding an array of project-related issues

Further details of these services include, but are not limited to:

1. Conduct initial project assessment to determine if the development concept "fits" with the Moline Centre Plan and present to Project Management Team (PMT).

2. Establish and facilitate a Design, Build, Management Team (DBMT) that is customized and tailored for each development.  DBMTs will address project scope and function, character of use, site planning, integration with surrounding development,  and supportive public improvements.

3. Identify and secure economic development resources such as TIF, grants, tax credits and low-interests loans to aid in project implementation and success.

4. Provide design development services in the areas of architecture, landscape, streetscape, signage, and lighting.

5. Manage project through the design and construction phases including significant fast-tracking where necessary.
